Work Experience:

·         Self-Employed: Artist 2001-present

I create works of art out of Acrylic paint, watercolors, charcoal, Conte, oil and chalk pastels, clay and wood and market them to the public through the internet and to local dealers. I recently have been creating websites, and digitally restoring photos.

·         Self-Employed: Crafter 1996-2000

My Mom and I worked independently and as a team creating numerous craft items which we sold on E-bay at Homespun Crafters Mall, The Picket Fence and Snowflake Bizarre. I encouraged and supported my Mom as we went to a competition for QVC's 50/50 tour. Our project was picked as one of the top 50 products in Oregon.

·         Self-Employed: Freelance nail Artist/Technician 1990-1991

After graduating Phagan's Beauty College in Bend OR I moved back to Prineville and started the first mobile freelance nail artist/technician. I obtained proper licensing, built a clientele, kept books and stocked supplies. I would drive to the client wherever he/she wanted to meet.

Other Work Experience:

I have also had numerous temporary jobs to fill in the gaps between school, family and working on my own. I have many years of work experience varying from: manufacturing, cashier and customer service, maid service, inventory specialist and enumerator,10-key by touch, customer service, sales, answering phones, typing 40+ wpm, filing, organizing, and using all office equipment including PC computer/software.

 Community Service:

·         Empty Bowls 2004: My son and I attended the production part of the Empty Bowls Project. The project was in cooperation with COCC, COCAAN and the boys and Girls Club of Bend. The proceeds went to help feed the hungry. I helped my son and the other children make these bowls out of clay. The bowls were then glazed and fired. The empty bowls were then sold and filled with soup at a charity dinner.

·         Leukemia Foundation 2007: I donated a painting to the Be Positive wine and auction. It sold for $275 and the money went into the Leukemia Foundation.
