Unreal Championship Review
Unreal Championship
Single Player
Unreal Championship has a pretty bad single player. It has very little story and for the most part is just playing with bots. The first time you pick it up you will either find it fun or boring. An feature added is the ability to have your charters upgraded. The computer upgrades them automatically based on the number of points (Kills, Flags captured etc.). When you beat it once you can not play with your same upgraded charters in another game. The single player seem just to be there to help you train for xbox live.
Xbox Live
his was one of my first xbox I've games. When I first picked it up I was amazed at how little lag there was and the massive number of games available. The game play is unfortunately use a rocket launcher with seeker rockets or use the shock rifle (sniper rifle) with auto aim. Still the numerous game modes (CTF, deathmatch, Bombing run etc.) With a large number of maps can keep you entertained for hours. When I picked up this game again a few weeks ago I found that all of the good servers were gone (Microsoft took them off). When I joined a game I found it was full of lag. Now there a few new maps available for down load but with no good servers what's the point of playing.
Overall
Unreal has lost its appeal to me with the laggy servers and auto aim. Now you can get it for less than $20. If your look for a decent fast pace xbox live shooter this is for you. If not I would recommend looking for a different game.
