Mech Assault

Single Player
Mech Assault's single player gave me mix feeling. When you start out you have crashed landed and only have one light mech. With the mech. you must scout the area. You find that a terrorist group has a base there and you have to kill them all. The game has good voice acting and an ok story. The controls are very easy to learn. The graphics fell to impress me they seem to not be as smooth as they should have been. Mech Assaults for the most part is lock on to the target and pull the trigger with vary little strategy involved. The story is long and intrusting but I did not feel the need to play it again.

Xbox Live
This was and still is on of the best live titles. With very little lag in each game and a lag number of people playing it is well suited to any gamer of any skill. A normal Mech Assault game has around 8 players (the max for any game is 8 players). Mech assault has auto aim on almost any gun and the mad cat is very popular is with its dual highly seeking guns. This takes away from the amount of skill you need and is more of who can shoot the fastest with auto aim. Mech assault has a lage number of maps and mechs to download adding to the replay value.

Overall
Mech assaults good single player paired with a awesome multiplayer makes it a title any xbox live owner should own. Added to its value its now less than $20. The down sides of the game are its not so magical graphics and the huge use of Auto Aim Mechs in multiplayer.

Game play: 8.5
Graphics: 7.5
Sound: 8
Single player: 8

Overall: 8.2
