Crimson Skies Review
Crimson Skies
Single Player
Crimson Skies really jump out at me the first time I played it. The amazing graphics excellent voice acting and interesting story. The game starts at a tropical island were you lost your zeppelin on a hand of poker. After you retrieve it you head to a lager island and engage in a almost GTA (Grand Theft Auto) way of getting missions. They range form protecting merchant zeppelins to taking out waves of fighters from a AA gun (Antiaircraft gun). The single player is good but not even comparable to the fun on xbox live.
Xbox Live
A typical game on crimson skies consists of around 10-16 people. With this the game has a lobby and no one can join the game while its in progress. After you pick your plane your tossed into a none stop dog fight. bullets whizzing past your plane and you desperately trying to shake the guy on your tale. Is the best way to put my first experience on live. After that I became better and better get in the top three in almost any game. The different game modes are Wild Chicken, Dogfight, Keep Away and Flag Heist.
Now for the bad stuff. There is lag even though its hidden. When you pick up a power up it my take a few second for you to get it. Also your kills will pop up a few seconds after you killed the guy. Kill-stealing is also very popular in this game.
Overall
Crimson skies graphics are very good and the sound is superb. The single player will keep you entertained while honing your skills for xbox live. I recommend you get this game if you like flying games or have xbox live.
