We are a small, home based business, located in Sunny Central Oregon. We named the business Part Timers because we deal in car parts and also because we do it on a part time basis. We also raise Akitas, golf, bowl, boat and waterski on Central Oregon's beautiful Lake Billy Chinook, and a huge array of other outdoor activities. Central Oregon (the Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, Madras area) is in the high desert of Oregon. We have wonderful Mt. Bachelor for snowskiing, Smith Rocks for world class rock climbing, close to 30 beautiful golf courses, including the new prestigious Pronghorn, rated in the top 5 courses in the US.
Because we are in the high desert, we have little humidity and only 7 inches a year of precipitation per year, which is an old car collector's dream....very little rust or corrosion problems.
The Jones clan loaded our minivan once again in search of adventure and sped off to the wonderful world of Big Sky Country, home of Indians, Cowboys, and all the prairie land you never thought you'd make it through. For a while, this little Jones was a wee bit nervous, don't you know, as we drove through those miles and miles of flatland on our way to the more excitin' and mollifyin' REAL West. Our kids were getting a mite restless with the lack of scenery, but boy did that change when we finally reached the Rockies!
I am telling you, if you have yet to make it out to our nation's version of the Swiss Alps, you simply must go. We stayed in the most charming hotels; a few of them built with gi-GAN-tic trees that are so big around you just can't believe it! Our base of operations, as you might call it, was in Glacier National Park, and I have never seen such amazing scenes in all my days of family vacations. We stayed one night in a hotel called Many Glacier Hotel, and it's right on the edge of this gorgeous lake, and the Rocky Mountains are right there across the way! We took snapshot after snapshot with our panoramic cameras. I don't think we have room enough in our albums to put all our great pictures!

We will be sure to show you ALL of the pictures when we make our visiting rounds this season. Please visit our charming daughter's web site, in which she tells a funny story about how she saw her first live Grizzly Bear on this wonderful trip of ours!
