Eagle Cap Wilderness

Backcountry Skiing

The Eagle Cap Wilderness in northeastern Oregon is a beautiful spot with mountains unlike any others in Oregon. They are known as the little Alps because they are big and beautiful with that big mountain feel. There is a rental hut system in the Eagle Cap wilderness that offers winter backcountry skiing at it's finest. I stayed in these huts a couple of times and had some awesome skiing.................
