Click to EnlargeThis is where it all started on day one! I brushed on airplane paint stripper. It started bubbling right away!

Click to EnlargeThe pressure washer really helped to rinse the stripper and paint off of the trailer.

Click to EnlargeOnly 2 hours into the project, and I'm feeling great! This is too easy. I'll have a polished aluminum trailer by the weekend!

Click to EnlargeYes, we gave up on a polished aluminum finish. Now it's into the shop for plan B.

Click to EnlargeI used a urethane alkyd gloss oil base enamel by Benjamin Moore. This turned out to be an excellent product!

We have reupolstered all of the cushions now. You'll have to wait for more pictures after our vacation. Every thing has worked very well up to this point. I converted all of the lighting to 12 volt. The water tank uses air pressure to feed the sink. It works very well. Please e-mail us with any questions you might have. We'd love to be a part of your restoration!
