Pakistan is frequently mentioned in connection with Afghanistan and the war on terror, but there appears to be a great failure on the part of the media and the public to appreciate how critical Pakistan and its stability are to the future of world security. The Asia Times is an excellent on-line site for some of the most authoritative and informed commentaries and opinion related to the countries that comprise the continent and the Middle East. The South Asia section has articles related to Pakistan. Use the search function for an extensive list of archived articles. The PakTribune is an on-line, English-language news publication from Pakistan. Z Magazine has archives of articles on countries and regions, including Asia, around the world on its web site.
