The Family
We have surpassed the 6 month mark. Can't believe her 1st birthday is in less than 6 months! I said that to Branden one day and he wasn't too happy. Ally is definitely much more baby like than Autumn was. Autumn was always moving on to the next step and wanted to do everything herself. Ally is just content where she is. She knows what she can do and what she wants to do and she is fine with that. She rolled over the day she turned 5 months, finally, and immediately went both ways with no problem just like I knew she could. She mostly rolls to the left, just like everything else. It's so cute to watch her lay on her tummy, kicking her feet on the floor like she's all grown up. She holds her head up high now and is gaining more control. She has begun to play in the exersaucer as well. She even holds her bottle, for the most part. She doesn't get yet that she can't play and hold her bottle at the same time. Most of her hair has fallen out except right on top. It looks pretty silly so I had to trim it to even it out. She is growing so fast.

She gets excited about everything and is happy all the time. She is such a great baby. She grabs everything in sight, and kicks her feet all the time. Even when she was first born she never really stayed still; always moving. With her rolling now she sure can make her way around the room. If your not careful you can lose track of her. She doesn't mind playing alone, which is nice. When she wants something, then she gets mad that I walk away. Autumn always likes to tell me what Ally's doing and what she needs. Everytime she cries she says either, "I'm thinking she's hungry," or "I'm thinking she's getting tired." It's pretty funny. We have to watch out for Autumn because she has such a mommy and helpful nature that she tries to take care of things like I do, but she doesn't understand that she's not old enough to do it. She also doesn't always understand why I do things and likes to ask lots of questions. Fortunately it's not all why, but it's bad enough. She has amazing comprehension and she just wants to know and understand everything. Plus she never stops talking. It seems at times she does it just to say something. It's great entertainment for Ally.
