Available Classes:
Basic Lamaze is a 12 hour course that covers everything you and your labor support person need to know to have a satisfying Lamaze birth. Each series covers all aspects of prepared childbirth including: breathing, relaxation, labor support skills and pain management techniques.
Basic Lamaze is offered in Bend and Redmond (20 minute drive from Bend) and is the same course content in each location. $70.00 per couple.

Breastfeeding Basics will give you the tips and techniques to begin to breastfeed your newborn. Before she’s born, learn how to tell if baby is getting enough milk, what to do if she is sleepy and how to help him latch on correctly. Breastfeeding not only gives baby the best quality food, find out why it is an incredible health source for both mom and baby! DADS are WELCOME and encouraged to attend. Thursday evenings 7-9 pm, $25.00 no charge for Dad or other labor companion.

Baby Care ABC’s is an enjoyable Saturday seminar that is designed to teach parents the practical skills needed to care for a newborn. Instruction will be given on bathing, cord care, burping, diapering, car seat safety and more! You will have a chance for hands-on practice of infant care skills and plenty of time to ask all of your parenting questions. Saturdays 9:00 am -1:00 pm, $30.00 per couple

Lamaze Refresher is a brush-up class to help you and your labor support person prepare for your next birth experience. Breathing, positions and support skills are practiced. Adults or older children only, please. Bend Campus only Sunday 6-8 pm, $25.00 per couple
